The Center is a non-profit behavioral health clinic that provides comprehensive prevention, evaluation, therapy, and referral services to children and families in Fairfield County.  The Center includes a general out-patient program as well as an emergency mobile service for clinical emergencies, a bilingual clinic, an intensive out-patient service for court involved children, an intensive outpatient and extended day treatment program for children 5-12, and various prevention and before and after school services.

Ours is a multidisciplinary, supportive, and friendly staff composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurse practitioners, masters level therapists, and a variety of BA-level paraprofessionals.  There is an assortment of weekly treatment planning and professional development meetings.

The Center is housed in an old Victorian home, set along the Norwalk RiverEast Avenue is a busy and charming road with large, gentrified Victorian houses, occupied now by doctors, dentists, and other professionals.  We are a mile from Stew Leonards, "the world's largest dairy store".  Norwalk is a large, diverse town (75,000 residents), with an upscale center filled with fine restaurants and shops.  Fairfield County, just an hour from NYC by train or car, is one of the most desirable places to live in the United States.

We are seeking a talented, motivated, and dedicated clinician to work in our extended day-treatment program (which serves children ages 5-12).  The ideal candidate will have significant clinical experience (child/family therapy, parent guidance, crisis management), will be able work with insurance carriers to productively manage authorizations and treatment reviews, will add depth and breadth of our team, and will be able to supervise staff.
