The Center employs a very qualified and capable staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and other practitioners. We have highlighted our senior staff members in the interest of demonstrating the skill levels of those who help us serve the Mid-Fairfield County community.
Mr. Greenbaum has served as the executive director of the Child Guidance Center of Mid-Fairfield County since 1986. He has worked in the field of behavioral health for more than 30 years with an expertise in organizational change and development, administration and management. He has served on the Children’s Behavioral Health Advisory Committee to the State Advisory Council on Children and Families. Mr. Greenbaum served as a board member of Norwalk Communities in Schools and the United Way of Norwalk & Wilton, as well as three terms as the president of the Connecticut Association of Mental Health Clinics for Children, a 26-member outpatient behavioral health clinic organization.
Mr. Greenbaum earned his masters of social work in administration from Hunter College Graduate School of Social Work, New York, and a masters of arts in counseling and guidance from New York University, New York.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Social Work, Mr. Sansolo has a long-standing employment record at the Child Guidance Center of Mid-Fairfield County. As assistant executive director, he is responsible for the administration and management of all clinic programs; which includes providing managerial supervision to all program directors and clinical supervision to staff members. He also involves himself fin program development, statistical monitoring, and operations management of the Center.
Dr. Lustbader had been with the Center since 1998. He earned his Medical Doctorate degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York. He is board certified/eligible with the American Board of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Lustbader is responsible for overseeing all psychiatric patient care at the Center. He conducts psychiatric evaluations to clinic patients, as well as parents/guardians where indicated, participates in all treatment planning conference, prescribes and monitors medication for patients, and hospitalizes a child when necessary and coordinates discharge plans with hospital prior to the child returning to the community. He provides supervision and/or consultation to staff where medical expertise is indicated and participates in staff development programs.
Dr. Fischler is a graduate of Yeshiva University, Ferkauf School of Psychology, New York. He has been with the Center since 1989, and is the director of Emergency Mobil Services (EMS). Working in association with InfoLine, he is responsible for coordinating staff members to ensure around-the-clock psychological availability for the Center’s communities. He is responsible for overseeing the crisis assessment and stabilization services for children and adolescents whenever and wherever they are needed throughout the community.
The EMCS program is a joint venture in collaboration with the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut.
James Martin, LCSW – Chief Psychiatric Social Worker & Director of Training
Mr. Martin is a graduate of Simmons College School of Social Work, Massachusetts, and has been with the Center since 1994. He provides psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and related services to clinic patients. He oversees the supervision of all clinical social work functions, and directs and coordinates the Center’s student social work training program.
Mr. Martin participates in all executive management directives, and represents the Center at community and professional functions.
